The Romanian Airline Companies Association "Carpathia" is pleased to announce that its member airline DAN AIR will launch, starting September 25, 2025, regular flights on the Bucharest - Aleppo - Bucharest route.
👉 Flights will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, with Airbus A319 aircraft configured with 144 seats. This new connection complements the Bucharest - Damascus route, inaugurated in June, which has already carried more than 11,000 passengers.
With this expansion, DAN AIR remains the first European Union airline to operate regular flights both to Damascus and Aleppo, contributing to the reconnection of Syrian communities with Europe.
🔹 Aleppo, a city with a millennia-old history and an important cultural and economic center of the region, is now closer than ever for passengers from Romania and Europe.
RACA encourages the initiatives of Romanian airlines that open new routes and contribute to strengthening air connectivity between Romania and international destinations, creating new opportunities for travel, business, and cultural exchange.
