GHV/LRBV este cel mai nou nod aerian din România și primul aeroport construit de la zero în ultimele cinci decenii. Inaugurat în iunie 2023, situat strategic la doar 10 km de Brașov și în proximitatea viitoarei autostrăzi A3, deservind astfel eficient centrul țării.

The airport features a 2,820-meter runway designed to accommodate most modern commercial aircraft types. It benefits from a contemporary architectural design and is equipped with Romania’s first Virtual Control Tower, a national premiere that enhances operational safety and delivers significant cost efficiencies.

Current scheduled destinations include London, Budapest, and Dortmund, with additional routes to Naples, Nuremberg, and Memmingen planned by the end of the year. The charter offering includes popular holiday destinations such as Antalya, Heraklion, Chania, Hurghada, and Monastir.

For over 10 years, one of the most important aviation training centers in Romania, with a major contribution to the training of pilots and cabin crew for the regional airline industry. Initially created for programs like cadet programs, type rating, base and line training for the B737, it has evolved into a complex training provider, with +90 PPL students annually, +40 ATPL, CPL/MEP-IR, MCC programs, and +200 cabin crew every year.

The company operates OTD B737, ESET B737, FNPT II SEP/MEP-IR simulators, and FNPT II MCC A320 simulators across four locations, along with 3 classrooms, 18 premium accommodation beds, and a campus at Strejnic Airfield (hangar, +7 aircraft, briefing rooms, recreational spaces, accommodation). A center is under development at Clinceni Airfield, featuring a hangar of over 1,200 sqm. The training fleet includes Tecnam P2008, Cessna 150/172/172RG, Tecnam P-Mentor, Piper Seneca V, Tecnam P2006T, and Cirrus SR20 aircraft.

Approved organizations by RCAA and EASA operate under the JETAV brand – ATO, CC-TO, CAO for in-house maintenance, the ESET center, and accredited simulators, alongside AeroMed, a medical center (AME). In parallel, AeroMed AMC, the first private aeronautical medical center in Romania, and AOC Clever Wings, dedicated to tourist and experiential flights, are currently undergoing authorization. JETAV collaborates with all Romanian airlines as well as international operators with bases in Romania, achieving a 98% employment rate for pilots and 75% for cabin crew.
