We are delighted to announce that starting next month, Romanian airline AnimaWings (A2 / AWG), a member of the Romanian Airline Companies Association "Carpathia", will operate direct flights on the Bucharest-Iași-Bucharest route, providing passengers with a new, quick and comfortable travel option between these two important cities.
Frequency: 6 flights per week;
Aircraft: Latest-generation Airbus A220, renowned for fuel efficiency and enhanced passenger comfort;
Flight duration and fares: 55 minutes flight time, fares starting from €33 per segment.

With this new route, AnimaWings strengthens its presence in the domestic flight market, adding to its existing routes: Bucharest-Cluj-Napoca-Bucharest and Bucharest-Oradea-Bucharest.
However, it should be noted that high airport fees charged by some airports limit the possibility of lowering ticket prices. For example, on a round-trip journey from the capital to Cluj-Napoca, a passenger pays total airport fees amounting to approximately €50. To remain competitive and offer affordable travel solutions to all Romanians, support from authorities to adjust these fees is essential.

We congratulate AnimaWings for its continued efforts to develop Romanian aviation and improve national connectivity!
