We are pleased to announce the accession of HiSky to RACA, becoming the seventh Romanian airline within the association. This further strengthens our community of air operators who actively contribute to the development and modernization of Romania’s aviation sector.
Founded in 2020, HiSky has rapidly established itself as one of the most dynamic carriers in the region, with fast-paced network expansion and a diversified fleet adapted to both European and intercontinental operations.
HiSky’s operational fleet includes 8 modern, efficient and reliable aircraft:
• 1 × Airbus A330 (widebody, primarily used on long-haul routes such as Bucharest–New York, Bucharest–Chicago, and other destinations)
• 2 × Airbus A321 Neo
• 4 × Airbus A320
• 1 × Airbus A319
Operating under Air Operator Certificate RO-074, HiSky serves both scheduled and charter flights to some of the most demanded destinations across Europe, the Middle East and North America.
Destinations served: Chișinău, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Oradea, Venice, Milan, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Brussels, Paris, London, Dublin, Barcelona, Tel Aviv, as well as transatlantic destinations such as New York and Chicago. These transatlantic operations mark a major milestone for Romanian aviation, with HiSky becoming one of the few Romanian operators to offer direct connections between our country, the Republic of Moldova, and North America.
Through HiSky’s accession, RACA “Carpathia” adds to its ranks an operator distinguished by ambition, vision and a solid expansion strategy—further reinforcing our mission to create a unified and influential voice for Romanian airlines.
We warmly welcome our colleagues from HiSky! We are confident that together we will continue to build a modern, competitive and internationally connected Romanian aviation sector, aligned with the highest global standards.
