The future airport is strategically located between Gala\u021bi and Br\u0103ila, in an area that will benefit from its proximity to the cities of Tecuci, Foc\u0219ani, and Cahul, establishing itself as a vital hub of development in southeastern Romania.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The airport will be built on land located between the localities of Brani\u0219tea, Slobozia Conachi, and Tudor Vladimirescu, covering a generous area designated for both aviation operations and adjacent public investments. Its proximity to Gala\u021bi and Br\u0103ila, with a distance of just a few kilometers, makes it accessible to a population base of over one million residents, including those from neighboring areas such as Tecuci and Foc\u0219ani.<\/p>\n<p>The Gala\u021bi-Br\u0103ila metropolis, which includes this airport project, is one of the most populous metropolitan areas in Romania, ranking second after Bucharest-Ilfov in terms of population density.
